a lesson on fear and faith.

sometimes i worry a lot. we had a lesson in class that was exceptional.
"fear does not come from God, it comes from the adversary."
fill your whole soul with faith, for faith casts out all fear.
we are commanded to "fear not".
we most often fear the things we have no control over...so if we have no control, why do we fear?
"the righteous have no need to fear."
fear often leads people to imagine unrealistic situations and not to think logically.
in the scriptures there are over 100 examples when the Lord told His people through Prophets or others to "be not afraid", even when they were in impossible situations.
He always provide a way for His promised blessings.
[think of the story of the Red Sea. how terrified would you be to have an army coming at you with no where to go because a sea is behind you?  the Prophet says "fear not" and you trust him and trust the Lord will provide away. and He always does. even when you don't see how it will end up. sometimes it will be stepping into the water until the sea separates and provides a way through.]
"never doubt the reality of faith."
"when challenges and testing do come, your faith will lead you to solutions.
your peace of mind, your assurance of answers to vexing problems,
your ultimate joy depend upon your trust in Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ.
right will ultimately prevail."
i think i'm going to read this talk everyday for the rest of my life.
and this talk [which is so similar to this talk.]

i love the most perfect lessons.
