Faith

Okay-I know I always do these late...it's weird because I'm usually not up this late. It's crazy.

I just wanted to talk a little bit about my day. It's been really quite good. There was such an emphasis today at Church and with our Hometeachers about relying on the Lord and putting our lives into His hands. Our hometeacher shared a story about his father and when they had two children die in infancy. After the second child was born President George Albert Smith gave him (the father) a blessing saying to have faith in the Lord and to put this trial in His hands. It was neat to share that with my family because we have realized how important it is to put our lives in the Lord's hands and He will guide us through.

One more cool story....My friends and I try to sing at an old folk's home each sunday. Well, it was just one of those days, you know the ones where you just cry and cry. We ended with the theme song from Jordan Seminary this year (Brother McDonald is AMAZING!!) This one started my tear flow, then "God Be With You Till We Meet Again." I don't think Kayla, Kelsy, and I made it through one verse. I haven't sung it since my Aunt's funeral and it was rough to get through. But I really do love the song because I will be with my Father in Heaven again, and my aunt. So, we were all crying for different reasons, but we could all feel the same Spirit. It was neat.
