stake conference was a pleasure.
it created a sense of goodness in the world.
a happiness in my life.
and the desire to work hard and press forward.
none of the speakers prepared their talks, they just let the Spirit guide them.
we learned to become like little children.
we baptize children at the age of 8.
that means the Gospel is perfect for that age.
as we grow older we begin to over analyze, over think, and worry.
be like you were at age 8 with perfect faith and hope and desire to be good.
Elder Snow of the Quorom of the Seventy spoke to us.
he said, "as i look back on my life i wish i would've known that i could have a lot more confidence in the choices i was making. the same goes for you. the more confidence we have the more freely the Holy Ghost will speak to us."
he talked a lot about the Holy Ghost and how he can bless our lives. always.
"live up to your possibilities."
"trust Him.
don't get worried.
don't get discouraged.
ask 'Heavenly Father, what do you want me to learn from this?'
trust Him enough."
"God is in the details of our lives."
"i want to encourage you about the journey.
the road is do-able.
you HAVE to know that.
it doesn't matter what happens to you, it's how you choose to react."
our stake president urged us,
"challenge yourselves. do things that are hard.
it will increase your happiness."
i have been so blessed and uplifted.
there is happiness and hope in my life.
i can take steps into the darkness because i know that if i'm on the Lord's side He will never let me fall.
we have agency, choose to be happy today.

Great post for a Sunday evening. Stake Conference is always a great reminder to keep your head up and be strong. Sometimes we need those reminders.
