today it snowed.
i'm finally ready for it.
all i want to do is go sledding,
and have a snow ball fight,
and play until i can't feel my nose.
then drink hot chocolate.
i love snow in december.
(and only december.)
it makes Christmas seem real.
i love waking up to a foot of snow.
fresh, with no foot prints.
pure whiteness everywhere.
the whole world seems perfect and still.
"Be still and know that I am God"

to me the snow is a simple sign-
a gift from our Heavenly Father-
just simply reminding us to be still
for just a minute..
to remember Him
and His Son, Jesus Christ.
this season is to honor Him.
