lessons.

recently i got a letter from a good friend.
he said,
"The Gospel changes people. 
I would like to think that every day the Atonement has effect on me and I change for the better. 
That's what I am here on earth to do, become better, become like Christ."
i thought about that a lot today.
i appreciated the lessons on patience and forgiveness.
there are some things i need to work on.
and because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ i can.
i can do a little more each day.
i can try a little harder.
i can use the Atonement to help me to change.
like he said, "that's what i am here on earth to do."
and like the lessons taught, it will take patience and forgiveness.
