two days.

this is christmas.
being home with the family.
the tree lighting the whole living room.
driving around looking at lights.
eating candy until it hurts.
working on presents until the last second.
giving. and recieving.
watching the snow fall outside.
looking at all the christmas card pictures.
reading stories about the "man who hated christmas".
visiting with friends.
sledding and hot chocolate.

lucky for us, we get to do all of this because the birth of a child,
Jesus Christ.
He gives us joy, hope, happiness and love.
and i'm grateful to Him for helping me remember it just a little more...
